Following a career in administration and working in the academic sector, I decided to go on a different tangent of academia. I undertook further study in publishing, gaining a diploma in proofreading and copyediting with a view to helping writers and authors to get their work published. I have helped international students who struggle to express their knowledge in academic English; helped lecturers with their essays for publication in academic journals; and edited the work of writers and authors to have it ready for publication or web sites.
