Universidad Austral de Chile, School of Biochemistry (2004-2010), Degree of Biochemistry and Biochemist with Honors. U.S. Equivalence: Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry During my professional formation, I completed my undergraduate thesis as a member of Maite Castro PhD.’s Lab, at the Biochemistry Institute of the Universidad Austral de Chile. My work in the lab from 2008 to January, 2012, allowed me to gain experience in the area of cellular biology and handling techniques, such as: cell culture, Western blot, indirect immunofluorescence assay, imaging techniques using confocal microscopy, immunoprecipitation, and biotinylation of membrane proteins.
