I'm an intern at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal- Karnataka. I have been keenly involved in the basic medical research since the past 4.5 years of my undergraduate course and acquiring medical and surgical skills during my 1 year of internship. Being a regular attendee of the country's first undergraduate surgical society- ' cutting edge', acquired basic surgical skills including tying of surgical knots, catheterisation, ryles tube insertion, gastric lavaging, line insertion, incubation, etc which were accompanied by lectures from different specialists who delivered their insight for the great skills.
