A NIGHT OUTSIDE
The end of the light,
Becomes a glimmer.
Blinking in desperation,
I find myself getting smaller.
Rampaging through my heart’s desire,
I find instead a greater power,
To see within,
That an empty song is too much to sing,
And an empty poem not enough to say.
Though i will all but forsake,
The path that was chosen.
And that which I must take.
And still I pray,
That one day.
All will live a peaceful life,
For every second,
And every minute.
A new battle shall arise,
Bleeding all hope from innocent people.
And even more,
Shoving hate,
Regret,
And jealousy in the minds of the little.
An so I leave you with one last message,
That this beautiful and wonderful world.
