1972 -Graduate in Medicine by Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niterói, RJ, Brasil. Residence training program in the Department of Internal Medicine, with emphasis in Nephrology. 1974 - Master Degree certificate in the field of Anatomical Pathology. In 1977 I became an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and took over the graduation course in renal pathology and the routine work of nephropathology at the Anatomic Pathologic Lab at the Hospital Universitário Antonio Pedro.
