The DGTRAD Terminology Coordination Unit provides terminology services for translators including collecting and processing terminology from day-to-day texts, feeding new terms into IATE and completing entries, managing IATE including roles and rights, and providing training and helpdesk support for IATE users. They also monitor legislative procedures to identify upcoming terminology needs, ensure consistency across EP databases, and represent the EP in external terminology bodies and conferences.
