I retired in 2010 from the public school system in California after 39 years of service. Currently, I work as an independent contractor providing professional development on research based pedagogy to staffs at Program Improvement schools with high concentrations of English learners and Title I students. In my last teaching assignment, I taught AB2913 classes, CTEL Review classes to prep teachers for the CTEL Exam, and I trained, coached, and worked with elementary, middle and high school staffs at Program Improvement schools to improve delivery of instruction.
