I’m a student, studying to become a teacher. I am majoring in English and History. I believe that a teacher is an agent of change driven by passion to impart knowledge and ensure that learners become good moral agents of the society. I am currently working as a temporary Res Academic Advisor at the University of Johannesburg. One of my  job requirement as an RAA is to assist first year students to transition from school level work to university expectations ensuring that they become holistic students. This experience has taught me to become aware of different struggles that students encounter in their first year level and how they solve their difficulties.
