Dr. Michael Biste is a German geologist, based since 1986 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, with 40 years of experience in the mineral industry. He finished his studies with a doctorate in natural sciences in 1979 at the Free University of Berlin. He works since 1980 in South America, first employed and since 1991 as an independent consultant. His experience includes gold, tin, tungsten, antimony, tantalite, diamonds, semi-precious stones, base metals, iron and ornamental stone projects in China, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Venezuela.
