The purpose of the Bioenvironmental Sciences Professional Board is to assist the department in the advancement of its mission: preparing excellent environmental professionals responsive to industry needs in the 21st century.
The newly formed Bioenvironmental Sciences Professional Board conducted their inaugural Board Meeting on the Texas A&M University campus on September 20-22, 2012. The volunteer Board consists of 18 professional members who carry out the mission adhering to approved by-laws. The Board accomplishes its mission through three working committees: 1) Financial Development, 2) Student Development and mentoring, and 3) Faculty and BESC Curriculum Support.
