I entered the Medical Device Reprocessing field with no previous clinical or medical equipment experience. It was a steep learning curve but I was in love with the field from Day 1. I managed a central reprocessing department in an acute care/trauma center for 6 years and then moved into a Regional Quality manager role for 5 the central Medical Device Reprocessing units in our health authority. I have been in this role for 4 years and continue to learn new things everyday.
