I live on the WWW. My PhD research focuses on social media tools – YouTube and flick’r but I have a very new interest in Second Life and how these tools can be used for citizen engagement. When I am not being a mom, wife, employee, or student, you can find me hanging out with Harry Potter fans. Day job includes telephone calls, conversations with caterers, logging into Second Life to teach a class, website design and maintenance, and paperwork. Part-time student in a technology based humanities program. Personal time is balanced between family, Harry Potter fandom and sleep!
