Michelina (Mickey) Messina Witte earned her MS ('05) and her PhD ('08) in Neuroscience from Florida State University. During her predoctoral years, Dr. Witte earned several awards including a prestigious predoctoral training grant from the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke, a neuroscience endowment from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, a neuroscience fellowship and a new investigator award.
