Was a jesuit brother for 9 years. Travelled as hippy all over Europe, North Africa (Tunisia, Algeria, Marsocco) and Israel for 3 yrs. Worked in Rural Development with a Mexican Foundation and Save the Children for 12 yrs. Joined UNICEF to work in Nigeria, 4 yrs, Paraguay, 5 yrs, Belize, 2 yrs, Guatemala. 3 yrs. Became an 'official' expert on international migration, working at Guatemalan Jesuit University
