Michael Mumford, (CPA, CFF, CFE, CPA/CAN, FINRA Series 65) has practiced exclusively in the areas of forensic accounting, financial and regulatory investigations, and risk mitigation strategy for over 25 years.
Michael founded Luminescent Inc. in 2002, and in 2013 formed a new division, FirstRule Wealth Risk Advisors, to provide independent wealth risk advisory service to wealthy individuals and families. Michael also led the forensic and investigative services practice of Deloitte in Minneapolis, and prior to that, was Partner in Charge of Arthur Andersen’s Business Fraud Risk Services practice in Canada.
