My career interest started with cannabinoid research: in my PhD at the University of Milan I’ve studied the behavioral and molecular mechanisms of cannabinoids addiction in animals models and the role of cannabinoid system in the neurobiology of anxiety, depression and schizophrenia.
During a two year experience at the University of California, Irvine, I’ve started to study the relationship between sphingolipids and cancer, approaching the lipidomic world.
