Dr. Nazar Zaki is a Professor and Chair, Department of Comp. Science and SW Engineering, United Arab Emirates University. His research interest is in the field of bioinformatics, data mining and machine learning. He mainly focuses on developing an intelligent data mining algorithms to solve specific biological problems, such as protein function/structure prediction, protein interaction network analysis and protein complex detection.
