I have a background in Veterinary medicine and masters & Ph.D. in Infectious disease Microbiology and Immunology. I received my masters and doctorate at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA and was trained in Dr. N. Sriranganathan's labortaory. I worked extensively with biosafety-level-3 (BSL3) bacterial pathogens.
