I am passionate about starting up and growing new businesses and have done so for the last 30 years in Liverpool, Leeds and London. I am particularly passionate about 鈥榢eeping it real鈥� when it comes to working with students, start ups and learners of all ages and avoiding clich茅, uncritical thinking and stereotyped practice when working with people to re-vision the world they want for themselves, their businesses and their communities.
Awarded an MBE for services to arts based businesses, I led the "I鈥檓 Liverpool I鈥檓 Business" Start Up programme for Liverpool Vision in 2012 and in 2013 became Programme Director for Spark Up: the business incubator and accelerator pilot programme
