Born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Higher education in the US. Cross culturally competent. Have lived and worked in Brazil, the US and England. Citizen of the world. Currently: Program Director - Undergraduate Portuguese Language and Brazilian Studies, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Main goal is to expand the program by adding value to its degree through various pedagogical, academic and marketing efforts. Teach courses on Brazilian culture, advanced language, cross-cultural topics.
