There has never been a more important time for journalism education. The voices are many and public access is immediate. It is imperative that journalists are educated in ethics, policy and procedure. Social media is making it more difficult for dark places to exist, but training journalists where to shine the light has never been more important. I hope to teach and guide the next generation of journalists how to uncover, illuminate and disseminate the truth in every aspect of society.
