Mothobi is a director of SunCapital Investment (Pyt) Ltd a research company based in Botswana. He is a currently doing his PhD in Economics in the University of Cape Town. His thesis is based on behavioural financial economics and game theory. Other interest are econometrics and minority games. Mothobi is a seasoned researcher and has accumulated a lot of knowledge on some statistical softwares such as STATA and Matlab. He has attended UCT Summer School Training programme in Social Science Reseach (STATA), February 2013 and NIDS Panel Data Course (STATA). July 2013.
