About
Description: Open Door is a fund to support agencies, foster parents and families in six ways:
First, provide a Foster Care program for teens ages 13-18 in a home located in Wheaton. (Our Foster Parents are licensed by DCFS or the DuPage County Probation Department, ODFT is not)
Second, ODFT provides Transitional Living for emotionally and psychologically dependent young adults, ages 17 to 25 years of age who need in-depth care, with some structure, to become mature, independent adults.
Third, we provide advice through our Families Helping Families program to any family, with children of any age with or without problems, wanting to better develop their parenting skills..
