Description: Open Door is a fund to support agencies, foster parents and families in six ways:
First, provide a 鈥淔oster Care鈥� program for teens ages 13-18 in a home located in Wheaton. (Our Foster Parents are licensed by DCFS or the DuPage County Probation Department, ODFT is not)
Second, ODFT provides 鈥淭ransitional Living鈥� for emotionally and psychologically dependent young adults, ages 17 to 25 years of age who need in-depth care, with some structure, to become mature, independent adults.
Third, we provide advice through our 鈥淔amilies Helping Families鈥� program to any family, with children of any age with or without problems, wanting to better develop their parenting skills..
