Dr. Oscar A. Loaiza received his first class honors degree in Chemistry at the Universidad del QuindÃo at 2001 and his PhD (cum laude) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
He was working in the Analytical Chemistry Department at the Complutense University of Madrid (2002-2007), and in the Biodesign Institute (Arizona State University), and the Biosensors group (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona).
Since 2008, he has been working as Researcher and Project Manager at the Sensors and Photonics Unit in CIDETC-IK4, San Sebastian, Spain, where he collaborates in the development of electrochemical biosensors.
