Dr. Rossetti started his experience in clinical research soon after the beginning of his fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism in 1999, under the direction of Prof. Geremia Bolli (University of Perugia, Italy). Most of his research and professional activity focused on two complementary topics: 1) insulin treatment in people with T1DM and T2DM and 2) physiopathology of insulin-induced hypoglycemia in humans. Indeed, he has evaluated several of the currently available insulin preparations both in glucose clamp studies (to assess insulin PK and PD) and clinical studies (to individuate optimal insulin regimens).
