I’m a Research & Business Development Officer for the University of Leicester. In this role, I work alongside academic staff to generate research and commercial income. The main activities are: collaborative and contract research, consultancy, CPD/short courses and the use of the facilities at the University. The main areas for working with the science sector are: Chemistry, Informatics, Geography, Geology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy. Before joining the University, I worked for three agricultural companies – water treatment in pig and poultry, wastewater recycling to land and biomass production and processing.
