Dr. Pei Zheng has over 18 years of experience in mobile wireless R&D focusing on the following areas: mobile platforms and services, telecom/carrier services, and IoT with big data and Machine Learning in the cloud.
He is now the Director of Samsung R&D lab in Bellevue, WA. Prior to that he was with Lucent Bell labs, Microsoft, i-Mate, and Sony Ericsson. Dr. Zheng is author of two highly reviewed books, 'Smart Phone and Next Generation Mobile Computing' by Morgan Kaufmann in 2005, and 'Professional Smartphone Programming' by Wiley/Wrox in 2009, and numerous cited publications on IEEE journals and conferences. He received a PhD in Computer Science from Michigan State University in 2003.
