Research interests include investigation global patterns of biodiversity, with a special interest in the evolutionary origins and ancestral biogeography of coral reef fishes. I have also worked on exploring the link between molecular rates of evolution and life history traits across the tree of life. Currently hold a position as a Donnelley Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology where I am examining patterns of speciation, extinction, dispersal and rates of molecular evolution across temporal and spacial scales.
