Peter lectured in the School of Sustainability at Murdoch University until he joined United Nations Volunteers in January 2011 as partnership specialist, civil society. Previously he worked as a university lecturer and NGO environmental adviser in Nicaragua, UN Volunteers program officer in the United Nations Development Program’s multi-country office in Fiji, and State Manager for Australian Volunteer International’s Perth office. Peter has been involved with Oxfam Australia since the early 1980s. He was until recently a member of Volunteering Australia’s National Volunteer Research Agenda Advisory Committee.
