Petula - is that a flower? No, I was named after Petula Clark, a 1960s English singer. She is the most successful British female solo recording artist of all time and holds the longest span on the UK pop charts of any British female artists. My dad saw the West End revival of "The Sound of Music," in which she starred as Maria von Trapp, and decided to name me after her.
