After earning a BA in anthropology from UNC Chapel Hill, I went to Asia and learned a couple of languages, but my proudest accomplishments are things like developing fund raisers for Sri Lankan orphans, negotiating the translation of Korean contracts, recruiting for a Japanese exchange program and taking a group of community college students to Kyoto. The positions I've had required plenty of interpersonal skills, public speaking and management. When it comes to leadership, I take gray areas and help people make decisions or take uncertainty and incite people to take action, because I analyze and simplify the issue.
