Philips Green LED luminaires
and LED lamps reduce costs,
energy consumption and CO2
emissions. How?
They offer a significant environmental improvement
in most or all of the Philips Green Focal Areas -
Energy efficiency, Packaging, Hazardous substances,
Weight, Recycling and disposal and Lifetime
reliability.
4. Energy Efficient LED
The long lifetime of Philips LED means youll
change your bulbs less often. Their energy
efficiency means youll see the benefits in
your wallet as well.
Philips LEDs use up to 80% less energy than
traditional incandescent while producing the
same beautiful warm light you are used to. A
Philips LED bulb can last for up to 15,000
hours, which is equal to 15 incandescent. So
not only will you have to change fewer bulbs,

materials in main pack fabrics and sleeping bag collections
with 100% recycled nylons and polyesters that contain 25 to
50% post-consumerrecycled content).
These new materials will be recycled via a depolymerization
process back their molecular building blocks. They are then
considered to "perform on-par with conventional
alternatives, but garner dramatic savings in energy use and
resource consumption." What's more the company notes that
such recycling results in a 70% reduction in energy use and
CO2 emissions for recycled nylons and 80% reduction for
recycled polyesters.

ECO PRODUCTION PROCESS
1 The raw materials are supplied by commercial organizations
whospecialize in waste management. These materials undergo
a thorough cleaning, filtering, and grading process.
2 The materials are then poured into a mixer and combined
with the exclusive Cosentinoenvironment resin.
3 When the mixture has melted, it is spread onto a large
conveyor belt and compressed by vibrocompression.
4 The compressed product is treated in an industrial oven for 1
hour and allowed to cool for a day.
5 The slab is calibrated and polished with diamond buffing pads
to create the finished product.
