Richard's early career was with Courage (Eastern) Ltd with roles in Industrial Engineering Planning and Operations.
He then joined the Coca-Cola Bottler system and was fast-tracked through many roles including Distribution, launching a new national commercial venture, and finally leading both the Retail and Grocery Divisions.
He moved to EMI Music for the next 12 years building out their Commercial capabilities including 6 years in the US transforming EMI into the leading Sales/Marketing Co. in the industry. He was also heavily involved in the launch and development of the global digital music business.
