Married to Mildred Wise, best woman in the world!
I always wanted to be a Soldier. Joined in 1987 and never regretted a moment of it! Traveled to 22 foreign countries (that I can remember) and had 4 combat and 3 peacekeeping deployments. I've seen countries and cultures most people will never even read about. I've seen everything from the German Octoberfest to the Austrian Alps to the Egyptian pyramids, and then some. I've lived about 7 total years of my life in the desert, and I can't stand it! To me, I turn on the AC (or heat) as needed, cost be damned! Now I'm married to the best woman in the world and my priority is loving my family and enjoying life for a change as a civilian!
