I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in comparative politics and international relations. I have been a graduate student at UT since 2011, and a doctoral candidate since 2014. My research focuses on social policies and party system institutionalization, and the ways they are associated to social mobilization in Latin America. I am also interested in the role international organizations play in promoting democracy in the region.
