Born in Lisbon at the beginning of the 70's, between this magnificent moment and his moving to Oporto this beautiful and enchanted child - acording to his parents - goes from school to advertising agencies, where he works as an art director. In Oporto he discovers the passion for soul power at some house but crowded parties. Inspired by not more than 2 persistent friends, he moves out and starts djing at Bazaar with his Mauz Sessions on mondays. Then thursdays, fridays and saturdays. A new club opens in town, the Casa do Livro, and for 3 years, with a weekly residence since first day, he gives life to Captain F, making of each set an adventure through the underworld of funk, soul and jazz.
