How I do this is through a set of practices and experience with framing the relevancy of information. What are the missing insights and unknown relationships in the present state of knowledge? What are the available data sets that may hold valuable but currently unknown insights, connections and relationships? What relevant information - such as from ethnography, psychology, financial and socio-economics - are not available in present operations?
