I grew up in Virginia. My family ties to the hotel business provided me with an entrepreneurial drive. But I wanted to do something different. So I studied Computer Information Systems in College and then joined the masses of other students looking for a job in our field of study. After a nine month internship with a large corporation at their national headquarters I resigned to start my own business. I wanted a different business than the hotel business.
