Samsul demonstrated the applicability of using a coupled finite-infinite element formulation for soil structure interaction analyses of offshore structures during his postgraduate studies. Samsul was employed by Scott Wilson pavement engineering as a graduate engineer. Later he started his oil and gas career at RNZ Integrated as a Structural Engineer designing topsides and jackets. Samsul also gained experience at SapuraAcergy as an Analytical Engineer where he was involved in designing installation aids for offshore structures. At GL Noble Denton he had the opportunity to perform advanced structural analyses. He is presently employed by SapuraKencana.
