I am a Candidate Sourcer for Seven Step Recruitment. In that role I:
utilize traditional and non-traditional data sources to develop, expand and manage active and passive talent pools
utilize a variety of web-based tools (social networking sites, blogs, user groups) to source additional information in order to develop the candidate profiles and talent pools within Avature
use Soft approaches (phone/email/ social media ) to candidates within the talent pools for information gathering (ex: current role, years experience)
