I graduated from Rocky Vista University - College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. And no, that is not a bone doctor :-). D.O.'s and M.D.'s are both fully qualified and licensed to practice medicine in the U.S. Osteopathic Medicine (DO) differs from Allopathic Medicine (MD) in that we learn more hands-on techniques and theories involving neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and circulatory aspects of the body, studying the link between structure and function.
