WORLD CUP VILLAGES
Brazil will be hosting the 2014 World Cup. Over US$ 10 billion in public funds will be spent on stadiums and related infrastructure. A relatively small incremental investment, mostly private, would create thriving sustainable villages anchored on each of the 12 stadiums throughout the country:
