About
The PHD goal will be the manipulation of the small beads or cells by the 2D micromachined ultrasonic transducers (cMUT) integrated with the phased array circuit. In the meantime, I also work on the cMUT project in imec, which includes the design and modeling of the cMUT array, cMUT characterization, ultrasound imaging system etc..
Before the PHD, I already gained 4 years' hands-on experiences on MEMS design, processing and characterization during the bachelor and master period with plenty of cleanroom experiences (since 2007) and sufficient design and modeling skills (ANSYS: since 2007; COMSOL: since 2011).
