Simmons is a tall drink of water. One time, an even taller drink of water, an old fellow, said to him: "If somebody asks you how the weather is up there, you spit on him and say, 'It's raining!'"
Simmons B. Buntin is the author of Bloom (Salmon Poetry, 2010) and Riverfall (Salmon Poetry, 2005). His award-winning poetry and prose have appeared in numerous North American, European, and Asian journals and anthologies including Orion, North American Review, Kyoto Journal, Versal, Isotope, Snowy Egret, Mid-American Review, and Verse Daily.
He is the founding editor of the acclaimed international journal Terrain.org: A Journal of the Built & Natural Environments, for which he also writes a
