The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA) is a multi-disciplinary non-profit organisation that is committed to supporting professional waste management practices. The Institute operates in Southern Africa and the Zimbabwe Chapter, which was founded in 2002, operates in Zimbabwe with its own mandate and structures but in close cooperation with the head office of the Institute which is based in South Africa.
