About
Professor Adhikari's research areas are multidisciplinary in nature and include uncertainty quantification in computational mechanics, bio & nanomechanics (nanotubes, graphene, cell mechanics, nano-bio sensors), dynamics of complex systems, inverse problems for linear and non-linear dynamics and vibration energy harvesting. He has obtained more than £3M of competitive research funding as principal investigator, published over 350 peer-reviewed journal papers and 200 conference papers in these areas. Potential Ph.D. students, MRes project students (one year project), and post-doctoral scholars interested in any of the above areas, or areas related to them, please contact me directly.
