The Zip-it Opener represents my second professional life. My first life was spent as a dentist practicing on the Island of Saipan in the Mariana Islands and then in the town of Auburn in north central Calif. -combined time of about 34 years. Now back to my second life.
It all started in my mother’s kitchen with a pile of hard shell plastic packages that she could not open. She was in her 80s and did not like using anything sharp and scissors just didn’t work. We all know the experience. You can see it but you can’t have it. I finally decided to see if I couldn’t find a way for her to open them herself.
