I love bridging the gap between business and IT. I know that is a common thread, but I started out as a business guy, so it's especially true for me. I can never understand how you can just look at the bits and bytes to keep it running, without understanding the ultimate business goal of the system.
I spend 90% of my time reverse engineering closed source business applications so that I can:
1) better understand the business and it's usage of data
2) document and better utilize the software we use in the business
That's me in a nutshell.
Specialties: Performance tuning, and I think I am an especially good mentor. I love to get people excited about what they can do!
