I had almost forgotten that my nickname in grade school was "Beaver" or "Beav" until some old school mates brought that to my attention on Facebook. I haven't been called that in 20 years. By the way, I got that nickname from the T.V. show "Leave it to Beaver" because I used to always manage to find a way to get into trouble. Trouble with the parents, trouble with the teachers, trouble with the school district, etc. It was all innocent harmless fun, though. Nothing too serious, really...
