The Virtual High School (VHS, Inc.) is the first large-scale project to create Internet-based courses at the pre-college level, providing a low-cost means of augmenting the range of quality courses a high school (or middle school) can offer without expanding enrollment. VHS’ mission is to provide students with access to high quality online learning experiences and courses not offered at their school, while supporting educators with the professional development and services they need to provide an effective 21st century education to every student.
